Talent Acquisition and HR Generalist – Remote (Costa Rica)

We are looking for enthusiastic HR to support Amerge Costa Rica and embrace talent acquisition globally.

As a Recruiter you will get a chance to help our international teams to grow. As we have several locales (US, Slovakia, Costa Rica, Germany and the UK), you will work closely with hiring managers and the HR team to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment experience for both candidates and the company.

The admin part is purely related to our team in Costa Rica. In this role, you will be the backbone of our HR operations, handling a variety of administrative tasks and ensuring compliance with local authorities and banking institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:
  • Manage the end-of-the-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing (via agencies, job boards), scheduling phone/video screens, technical assessment and interviews.
  • Post job advertisements on multiple platforms such as local job boards.
  • Maintain and update candidate records in internal applicant tracking systems.
  • Communicate promptly and professionally with candidates throughout the hiring process, providing positive candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and provide recruitment updates.
HR and General Administration:
  • New Hire Onboarding: Collaborate with POCs to guarantee a seamless onboarding process. Coordination of IT onboarding and basic IT support. Benefits onboarding.
  • Administrative Support: Handle HR documentation, salary statements distribution, and respond to various administrative requests as needed.
  • Salary Payment: Receive salary documentation from the Billing team, access the bank platform, and ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time.
  • Social Security & Taxes (CCSS / Hacienda): Manage payments for social security and taxes through the bank, ensuring all deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
  • Bank Transfers & Approvals: Follow up with banks on transfers and approvals, resolving any issues that may arise. Oversee the payroll process through the bank, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Palig Administration: Subscribe new hires to Palig services, coordinate with the point of contact (POC) for reimbursements, cancellations, and other related matters.
  • Organisation of team meetings and events.
  • Business trips administration (coordination of bookings, payments, trip reservation).

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years in Recruitment/HR Admin.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of administrative tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of Labor Law and employment equity regulations is a plus.
  • English proficiency at C1/C2 level.

Salary:

The final offer will be determined based on the individual qualifications, skills, and experience of the successful candidate and will be agreed upon during the selection process in accordance with applicable labor laws and internal compensation policies.
