Amerge’s 2022: A year in review

Before we immerse fully in the festive mood, we want to reflect on the past year and its blessings.

For us at Amerge, 2022 was a year of maturing and growth. We went through many changes, both as a business and as a team.

We grew in more ways than we thought possible, and still can’t believe what was accomplished. From growing our team to expanding our services, we’ve continually innovated from a small Amazon Ads agency to an internationally recognized full-service Advanced Amazon specialist agency. 

As we write these lines, we believe that this year has brought us closer to fulfilling our mission of building the blueprint for every brand with Amazon. 

So, what have we achieved in 2022? We welcome you to read through the highlights of Amerge that defined this year for us.

#1. Became Amazon Ads Advanced Partner

This qualifies our agency for added benefits, including access to select beta programs and tailored training on campaign strategies and new product releases. It enables us to help our clients’ brands thrive on Amazon.

#2. Opened a new Amerge office in Munich, Germany

Amerge‘s new office location enables the company to bridge the gap between its London-based headquarter and continental Europe. Additionally, it gives the company a strong foundation to build upon to continue serving various industry-leading businesses and brands. 

“We’re excited about the opportunities the new Munich office will bring us,” Country Lead Germany Maximilian Rottenaicher said. “It will not only allow us to better serve our existing clients in the area, but it will also allow us to service new clients in Germany, building the blueprint for every brand to succeed with Amazon. Our ex-Amazonian experience serves our customers with the highest standards possible leveraging in-house built technology that truly sets us apart from our competitors.”

Amerge aims to be recognized as a trusted partner in Europe, offering Search and DSP Ads, Creative Services, and Selling Partner Management to some of the most popular brands. 

#3. Almost doubled the size of our team

Our goals would not have been possible to reach without the right team of people. In 2022, we expanded our team by hiring 24 new Amergent’s, ranging from Vendor and Seller Account Managers, Search and DSP specialists, Designers, Analysts, Category Leads, and Client Relationship Managers to increase the accessibility and quality of our services. Our team consists of 35+ global professionals at the top of their fields. 

#4. Won 2 additional Amazon Ads Partner Awards

It’s starting to look like an Amerge tradition, as we’ve added 2 more Amazon Ads Partner Awards to the 2 awards from the last year. The Amazon Ads Partner Awards is a program that honours, spotlights, and celebrates the creative work that Amazon Ads partners deliver for their clients. In 2022, we won 2 Amazon Ads Partner Awards in the following categories: 

  • Innovation Award – UK 2022 for HyperX
  • Innovation Award – US 2022 for Loft Troll

We are very grateful for holding the status of being the highest award winning agency since the Partner Awards was launched and we can’t wait to see what 2023 brings. 

#5. Enhanced our tech by introducing Amerge View 3.0

Amerge View is our proprietary advertising dashboard that integrates retail, search, and DSP data and is refreshed daily, allowing a real-time view of both advertising and retail sales performance. 

Amerge View 3.0 layout has been rebuilt from the ground up to ensure that users require less vertical scrolling to get to crucial information, as well as introduces a set of navigation switches that toggle between Total and Ads views, and between Search and DSP views within the latter. Users can now select columns displayed in the Ads view to include a full range of Amazon Ads metrics. 

Thanks to the monthly aggregation of historical data, Amerge View is now faster and more reliable when it comes to loading times, as well as manipulation of reports. 

How lucky we are to help brands around the globe to succeed with Amazon. It’s a reality we never take for granted, therefore we do our best to continuously improve our services, bringing world-class results to our clients.
