In January, we introduced a new feature for ranking search terms, offering a comparative analysis of clients’ performance against competitors.
Enhanced Forecasting Model
In February, we improved the Amerge Forecast Model, enhancing the methods for forecasting by integrating more variables and data granularity.
📌Our forecasting combines factors in one’s past Amazon performance, as well as category performance. This way, our forecasting builds up on one’s historical trend, as well as takes into account growth opportunities within a given category.
📌Produces multiple variants of growth, while being transparent about diminishing returns and one’s expectations of what is possible.
📌Serves as a starting point for Amazon Ads budget planning in view of agreed-upon goals set off the back of forecasting.
📌Supports reforecasting, where we can readdress past forecasts with new data and course-correct if necessary.
Amerge View Enhancements
In April, we improved the Amerge View data pipeline structure for faster refresh speeds and reworked the logic of how data is refreshed and connected on a product/ASIN level.
“We changed the structure of the dataset and approach to our database for a faster daily refresh of Amerge View, saving resources and for keeping it simple to apply upcoming changes. An interesting thing in reporting is that we can see the usage of Amerge View, which can help us with monitoring of our services and troubleshooting,” said our Analyst Stefan Pfliegel.
Search Terms Ranking Report
Our tech department developed a new report for analysing search terms ranking, assisting in tracking changes in organic search volume.
AI Integration in Reporting
We started exploring integration of AI into Amerge View reporting, showcasing an innovative approach to data analysis.
User Management Tool
We introduced a new tool for efficient user management, making it quick and easy to onboard new customers onto Amerge View.
🔍Dynamic Data Visualization
We added the ability to select custom chart metrics related to one’s “Total” Amazon performance in Amerge View , offering customizable data visualisation options.
Measurement of Incrementality
Our tech experts developed a method of dynamically measuring the incremental effect of advertising on Amazon sales of promoted products, aiming to provide a whole new dimension for optimising Amazon Ads.
📢 Amerge View goes Saas
In December we launched our Beta for our Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) reporting on Amerge View (all accessible Self-Service for advertisers). This Beta allowed a select group of advertisers to get a highly in-depth analysis of full-funnel campaigns that have been run in 2023. More info on our LinkedIn post.
Features that are available within the tool include:
- Custom and granular grouping of campaigns for analysis.
- Linear multi-touch attribution (gives each touchpoint across the buyer journey credit toward driving a conversion).
- First touch attribution (gives full sales credit towards first touch only, compared to Amazon who report on the last touch only).
- Breaking down the path to conversion, as well as calculating multi-touch attribution on a campaign group level.
Starting Jan 2024, our AMC offering is now available for advertisers through our ‘AMC essentials’ or ‘AMC Pro’ package. More to follow in Q1 2024….
Forecasting Service Goes Mainstream
We have expanded availability of our forecasting service to all current and new clients, encouraging utilisation of this service for strategic planning.
