Challenge

Kin+kind is an emerging pet brand that offers natural products that are both good for animals and the environment. They face challenges competing with well-known brands who have established brand affinity in the pet market. The biggest constraint to kin+kind was that the growth had to be profitable.

Our approach

Monthly sales hit an all-time high in April 2024, with total sales from January – April 2024 +26% YoY. Profitability increased with advertising ACOS +38% vs. prior year, and +19% increase in brand store traffic vs. Q4 2023. Kin+kind is on track to continue growth, +29% total sales forecasted for 2024.

A full funnel approach was implemented across Sponsored Ads through increased presence of category keywords with SP, engaging creatives through SB & SBV, and offensively targeting competitors with SD.”

Results

The campaign achieved a 69% VCR, 819 units sold, and 27 new subscriptions from OLV. STV campaigns generated $36.4k in Ad Sales, 2,502 units sold, and 79 subscriptions. Best Seller audiences yielded $175.7k in sales, while overall YoY sales grew 13.22%, with a 23.31% increase as of May’2024.
