Magid produces 84M products annually and distributes 700 leading safety brands. Amerge onboarded Magid in September of 2023 as well as Amazon Marketing Stream we have been utilizing AMC since Magid onboarded in September as a test and learn partner.

Challenge

The client was managing more than 3.5k Sponsored Ads campaigns across a portfolio of 900 parent ASINs. Over time the spend got concentrated on a couple of parent ASINs while the vast majority of parent ASINs wasn’t being pushed which made them reliant on that handful of parent ASINs to drive total sales and POs from Amazon.

“For this type of partner we started differentiating product groups into separate portfolios. Products aimed at retail customers implement a more standard pattern of budget and bid distribution. Portfolios with products aimed at B2B customers implement the same flighting pattern of decreasing spend during weekends and increasing budget during weekdays. This is also paired with setting up adaptive bidding to increase bids during working hours.”

We broke down the 900 parent ASINs into 20 portfolios. And for portfolios above $2k we implement our suite of apps.
