Challenge

We worked with Dodo Digital Agency to tackle a challenge for their client, Salad Money. Salad Money is a Community Development Finance Institution who were looking at alternative solutions to standard Google and Social ads to grow awareness of their Brand and increase Loan applications.

Our approach

Salad Money’s campaign aimed for both brand awareness and lower application costs. We targeted consumers through demographics, custom audiences, and in-market segments informed by their website data via ad tags.

“Focusing on website retargeting for conversions and leveraging cost-effective 3rd-party placements, we optimized budget allocation based on CPM/CPC and application CPA. Creative testing and a shift to pure awareness led to lower CPMs and higher CTR that boosted overall engagement. To ensure comprehensive reporting, we integrated off-Amazon metrics into our standard dashboard for seamless client access.”

Results

Salad Money successfully achieved growth in brand awareness and customer acquisition utilising DSP. The best CPA results came from ad tag re-targeting audiences and demographic targeting. DSP became a cost-effective awareness solution vs external advertising and has since launch been an ‘always on’ DSP campaign for 8 months and counting.
