🚀 Campaign Creator Finalisation
After extensive development and testing, the Campaign Creator tool has been fully deployed for internal use by our Sponsored Ads Account Managers (AMs). This tool is designed to simplify campaign creation with an intuitive dashboard where AMs can easily select ad types, strategies, portfolios, targeting modes, campaign structure and detailed targeting and bidding controls. The tool integrates seamlessly with Amerge’s internal systems and reduces manual input for Sponsored Ads AMs, making launches and detailed optimizations faster and more efficient, and enabling them to focus more on strategic planning and creative thinking.
🚀 Real-Time Pacing Dashboard
We successfully replaced the legacy daily pacing reports with a real-time interactive pacing dashboard that feeds data from both Amazon Ads API and Amazon Marketing Stream. This new tool provides customizable views and real-time insights into campaign delivery and ensures accurate control of budgets set by our customers. It also eliminates the need for regular manual updates, freeing up valuable time for the teams to identify and test new tactics.
System Architecture and Automation
🚀 Auto-Deployment Development
In Q3, we completed development of an auto-deployment pipeline for our Amazon Ad Tech software solutions, automating release of new software versions and updates to production environments. This innovation has significantly reduced manual deployment time, minimised human error, and allowed for quicker and safer rollouts of new features and fixes. This new system will improve team productivity, reduce deployment-related bottlenecks and allow for a faster development of Amerge View and Amerge Engine technologies.
Data Integrity and Monitoring Improvements
🚀 Completion of Monthly Backfill for Sponsored Ads and DSP Data
Our developers have completed and successfully launched a recurring monthly backfill process for both Sponsored Ads and DSP data, ensuring that all historical data is accurately integrated into our systems and all possible inconsistencies between advertising platforms and data obtained via an API is automatically reconciled at the end of each month. This has further increased reporting and billing accuracy, which is crucial for our customer experience.
User Interface and UX Improvements
🚀 New Amerge View User Interface
“Amerge View user interface has been rebuilt from the ground up with focus on speed, functionality, ease of use and security. By moving towards a fully proprietary interface, we’ve managed to implement a number of updates that weren’t possible with the previous framework, refresh navigation, speed and enhance user experience. The new solution is also future-proof, enabling us to add new functionality in a modular way. The new user interface will begin rolling out in the 2nd half of October 2024,” explained Peter Nic, Software Development Project Manager at Amerge.
Advanced Reporting and Data Solutions
🚀 DSP Amazon Ad Tag Metrics via API
A major win for the tech team was the deployment of an API-based solution for obtaining Amazon Ad Tag metrics This replaces the previous method that relied on the native Amazon DSP reports and required Account Manager inputs. This API-driven solution automates the collection of key advertising metrics for customers using an Amazon Ad Tag, significantly reducing chances of human error and improving the speed and accuracy of our reporting.

🚀 Amazon Tentpole Event Analysis!
Just in time for the October Prime Day event, our Analyst Stefan Pfliegel has delivered an exciting new analytical tool that enables our Account teams to refine campaign strategies around Amazon tentpole events. The tool leverages key performance metrics and historical trends to display year-over-year Ad and Total data and help drive informed decisions and help our customers achieve even stronger results during these key periods.
Looking ahead, we are excited to continue pushing the boundaries of innovation. With a strong foundation built in Q3, our next steps will involve expanding our product offerings, calibrating our platforms, and exploring new ways to harness technology in service of our clients.
